Landing Gear Systems / Hydraulic Solutions

Blaník designs and produces landing gear systems and components for small aircraft segment - up to MTOW 3,500 kg. We provide wide range of related services, starting from initial consultations, through drawings & prototyping, to serial production.

We are capable of designing, building and testing of complete landing gear system including hydraulic actuators and furhermore hydraulic equipment (accumulators, brake master cylinders).

Structure

Full cycle of custom made prototype production incl. drawing creation or correction, manufacturing, subsequent testing up to approved documentation delivery. Modification of existing systems and production of related installation kits.

Control systems

We produce parts and assemblies of the control systems – from rods, cables, cranks up to complex assemblies like engine control quadrant.

Machining

We do have 5 axis CNC milling machine (block-shaped parts up to the size of 500 × 730 × 560 mm) and CNC turning machine (rotary parts up to a diameter of 200 mm and a length of 300 mm) as well.

Painting

We do have painting box for wet painting (box size: 4 × 4 × 11 m) and the heating box for the powder coating (Komaxit, box size: 1 × 1 × 2 m).

Water Jet Cutting

We do have the water jet cutting machine with the working area of 2000 × 4000 mm, where the sheets of the thickness up to 300 mm can be cut. Can be used for the metal sheets cutting, but also for plastic and composite materials.

Welding

We are capable to weld the aluminium, steel and anticorro parts using the TIG method under the protective atmosphere.

Bending

We do have the CNC bending machine, capable to bend on the length of 4000 mm. We produce the sheet metal holders, boxes and consoles, we can bend the tubes too.

Riveting

We do the manual riveting of the aircraft frames and other parts.

Assembling

We perform the final assembly of the manufactured parts from simple small assemblies up to complex control panels and systems, landing gear, hydraulic dampers, accumulators, cylinders and pistons.

3D Printing, Additive Technologies

Our advanced Additive Lab performs:

  • Wire-based additive manufacturing (WAM) technology research & development
  • Software development for WAM process
  • Test and small‑batch production using WAM

Our goal is wide WAM implementation in general industries.
